Haven Community Privacy Policy
Unleashed Games, Inc. — in partnership with Immutable
Effective date: July 15, 2026 · Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Unleashed Games, Inc. ("Unleashed Games," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you join the Haven community and sign up for updates, early access, and related experiences for Haven, our cross-platform cooperative social RPG. The Haven community is offered in partnership with Immutable, and this policy describes what that partnership means for your information.
We built Haven to be a welcoming, cooperative space, and we treat privacy and trust as design requirements rather than afterthoughts. Please read this policy carefully. By joining the Haven community or otherwise using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
Two things to know up front. First, community sign-up is for adults 18 or older; we do not offer standalone sign-ups to anyone under 18 (see Children's Privacy). Second, if you sign up or sign in using Immutable's tools, a separate company, Immutable, also processes some of your information as its own independent controller under its own privacy policy. See Immutable partnership.

1. Who we are
Unleashed Games, Inc. is an independent consumer game studio and the company responsible for Haven and the Haven community. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Unleashed Games, Inc. is the "controller" of the personal information described in this policy, except where we state that Immutable acts as an independent controller for its own services. You can reach us using the details in the Contact us section.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information we collect automatically as you use the Services, and information we receive from partners and other third parties.
Information you provide
- Community sign-up information: such as your name or display name, email address, age confirmation (18+), country or region, and any preferences or interests you share with us.
- Authentication information: if you sign in using Immutable or a social login (such as Google or Apple), the account identifier and email associated with that method.
- Profile and community content: content you create or share in Haven community spaces, and messages you send to our support or community teams.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and technical data: device type, operating system, platform, browser type, IP address, and unique device or installation identifiers.
- Usage data: pages and features viewed, sign-up and referral source, session activity, and similar interactions with the Services.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in the Cookies & tracking section.
Information from partners and third parties
- Immutable: where you sign up or authenticate through Immutable's tools, we may receive confirmation of your sign-in and related account status information.
- Service providers: such as email, analytics, anti-fraud, and trust-and-safety vendors, consistent with this policy.
3. Immutable partnership
The Haven community is offered in partnership with Immutable, which provides authentication and community infrastructure that helps you sign up and sign in — for example, using Google, Apple, or email.
Immutable is a separate company and an independent data controller for the information it processes through its own products and services. When you sign up or authenticate using Immutable's tools, Immutable's collection and use of your information (such as your email and authentication identifiers) is governed by Immutable's own privacy policy, not by this one. We encourage you to review it. Unleashed Games does not control Immutable's practices. For questions about information Immutable holds as its own controller, please contact Immutable directly.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to run the Haven community and to keep it safe, cooperative, and sustainable. Specifically, we use it to:
- Create and manage your community membership and authenticate your sign-in;
- Provide updates, early access, events, and other community experiences;
- Enable social and cooperative features and community participation;
- Personalize your experience and deliver relevant Haven content and Realm news;
- Provide support and respond to your requests;
- Protect trust and safety, including moderating content and detecting and preventing fraud and abuse;
- Analyze and improve the Services; and
- Send you service-related and, where permitted, promotional communications (you can opt out of promotional messages at any time), and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We use AI-assisted and procedural systems to support worldbuilding and content operations. These systems support our human designers, writers, and artists; they do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. Legal bases for processing (EU/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information to perform our contract with you (for example, to provide the community membership you sign up for); for our legitimate interests (such as securing the Services, preventing abuse, and improving Haven), balanced against your rights; with your consent (for example, for marketing or optional cookies), which you may withdraw at any time; and to comply with legal obligations.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
- With Immutable: where you sign up or authenticate through Immutable's tools, the information needed to provide those features. Immutable processes that information as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- With other community members: your display name, profile, and content you choose to share are visible to others in Haven's social spaces.
- Service providers: vendors who process data on our behalf (hosting, email, analytics, support, and trust-and-safety), under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of members, the public, or Unleashed Games.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Some sharing for analytics or advertising cookies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain US state laws. See the California section for your choices.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand how the Services are used. Some are strictly necessary to operate the Services; others are optional. You can manage optional cookies through our cookie controls where offered and through your browser or device settings. Where required by law, we obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies, and we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your community membership is active and for as long as needed to provide the Services, then retain it only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashing of passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.
10. Children's privacy
Haven is designed to be kid-safe in content, but it is presented as an adult-quality experience, and the Haven community is not directed to children. Only adults 18 or older may join the community or create an account. We do not knowingly permit children to register, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 for the purpose of community sign-up.
Where an adult account holder later chooses to let a child play Haven under a family or group plan, the adult is responsible for supervising that child's use. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we design child-accessible play to minimize the personal information involved, we do not condition a child's participation on disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary, and we apply age-appropriate defaults to social and communication features.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, or if you are a parent or guardian and wish to review, delete, or stop further collection of a child's information, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Portability of information you provided to us, in a usable format;
- Opt out of certain sharing, targeted advertising, or promotional communications;
- Object to or restrict certain processing; and
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. For requests concerning information Immutable holds as its own controller, please also contact Immutable directly.
12. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you specific rights over your personal information.
Categories collected. In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, and IP address); customer records and commercial information (such as membership and transaction data); internet or network activity (such as usage and device data); geolocation (approximate, from IP address); audio or electronic information (such as community communications and content); and inferences drawn from the above. We collect this information for the business purposes described in this policy.
Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request access to and deletion of your personal information; to correct inaccurate information; and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of certain targeted advertising. You also have the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
Do not sell or share. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent any use of advertising or analytics cookies is treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, you may opt out through our cookie controls or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. To submit a request, use the contact details below; we will verify your identity and honor authorized agents.
13. Your EU/UK rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the rights described in the Your privacy rights section, exercised in accordance with the GDPR and applicable UK law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns directly first, so please consider contacting us before doing so.
14. International data transfers
Unleashed Games is based in the United States, and we, Immutable, and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, where applicable.
15. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control, including Immutable. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice or seek your consent. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.

For questions about information Immutable processes as its own controller, please see Immutable's privacy policy.
This Privacy Policy is a starting template for the Haven community sign-up offered in partnership with Immutable. It is not legal advice. It assumes community members are adults (18+) and that sign-in may be handled through Immutable's tools; adjust the Immutable section if your integration differs. Before publishing, please have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel, confirm the details match how the Haven community actually operates, and coordinate the data-sharing and controller language with Immutable.
